Library media centre

A strong library program that is adequately staffed, resourced and funded can lead to higher student achievement regardless of the socioeconomic or educational levels of the adults in the community.  Print-rich environment leads to more reading, and free voluntary reading is the best predictor of comprehension, vocabulary growth, spelling and grammatical ability and writing style. Libraries can make a positive difference to students’ self-esteem, confidence, independence and sense of responsibility in regard to their own learning.

The 1000 square feet ergonomically designed school  library media centre  stocks more than 10,000 titles in English, Malayalam, Hindi & Arabic, subscribes to more than 25 magazines and 15 News Papers in English and  Malayalam. 

More than 3000 reference titles and text books are available to the staff and students for research and self learning

It also has a large collection of e-books, multimedia resources and supervised Broadband internet access. Computerized library management system enables high efficiency and control on resource accessibility.
